According to Domino Magazine, The Light We Lost is one of the Best Books to Pack for your Honeymoon (along with Courtney Maum‘s TOUCH and Hemingway’s A Moveable Feast!). If you want to check out what else is on the list, it’s right here: https://domino.com/best-books-for-honeymoon
I’m so thrilled that iBooks named The Light We Lost one of the Best Books of 2017 (So Far). It’s there with books from so many writers I admire. (Also, I love the graphic I got along with being on the list.)
I did this photo shoot when the Greek edition of The Light We Lost arrived. I loved getting to see how my name was spelled using the Greek alphabet. I also loved that my photo is flopped, so I’m looking right instead of left, like I usually do in that picture. And I loved
that Delia Ephron, Karma K. Brown, Brenda Bowen, and Thomas Christopher Greene are on the back flap!
The Light We Lost got a starred review in Shelf Awareness! If you’d like to read it, here’s the link: http://www.shelf-awareness.com/…/20…/the_light_we_lost.html
I celebrated with Prosecco when Il Giorno Aspettiamo hit the bestseller list in Italy! Number 19! Evviva!
My book was on TV! Thank you to Bill Goldstein on NBC New York for the kind words about The Light We Lost (My favorite part was the comparison to the movie The Way We Were.) You can watch the video here: http://www.nbcnewyork.com/…/Bill_s-Books_-Summer-Books_New-…
When I was in London, I got to visit the Magic Radio studios and talk with Harriet Scott about The Light We Lost for her Book Club podcast. The episode is now up! Here’s the link, if anyone is interested in giving it a listen: https://itunes.apple.com/…/p…/5-jill-santopolo/id1213782541…
I was so floored when I read Bustle‘s review of The Light We Lost 15 Beach Reads To Enjoy During Memorial Day Weekend in their list of . They said: “If you prefer love over murder, then Jill Santopolo’s stunning debut is the perfect beach read for your Memorial Day weekend. A heartbreaking contemporary romance about two people who meet on 9/11 and whose lives are forever defined by that day, The Light We Lost is a tragic tale of love, loss, and life that will haunt you long after you’ve read the unshakable ending. Be sure to throw tissues, and maybe a few cute pictures of puppies, in your beach bag with this one, because The Light We Lost will leave you shaken to your core.”
