A Reading List on The Stripe

I loved the review of The Light We Lost that was part if the reading list on The Stripe. My favorite lines were: “Oh my goodness – if you read one book this month, make this be it” and “[I]t felt so real and true (and reminded me of stories so many of my married friends have told me), and I will just say that I sobbed the entire last chapter. It’s an absolute must read.” (I loved the Sex and the City reference in the review, too…) If you want to read the whole thing you can click here: http://thestripe.com/2017/06/june-2017-reading-list/

Bustle Beach Reads

I was so floored when I read Bustle‘s review of The Light We Lost 15 Beach Reads To Enjoy During Memorial Day Weekend in their list of . They said: “If you prefer love over murder, then Jill Santopolo’s stunning debut is the perfect beach read for your Memorial Day weekend. A heartbreaking contemporary romance about two people who meet on 9/11 and whose lives are forever defined by that day, The Light We Lost is a tragic tale of love, loss, and life that will haunt you long after you’ve read the unshakable ending. Be sure to throw tissues, and maybe a few cute pictures of puppies, in your beach bag with this one, because The Light We Lost will leave you shaken to your core.”
Wow.

A book for a generation and a future classic.” Reading that line made me kind of speechless. Here’s the whole review:
