On May 22, The Light We Lost was released in Italian, with the title Il Giorno Che Aspettiamo (The Day We’re Waiting For). I was in Milan for its publication and just loved everyone I met who worked at Casa Editrice Nord, who published the Italian edition. The Light We Lost has a German cover! Only the book is called the equivalent of “We Are What Remain” in Germany. I love the different take on the U.S. art here…
Here’s the Swedish cover of The Light We Lost from Albert Bonniers Forlag–except in Sweden the book’s title translates to The World Without You. And the tagline says (so I’m told): On life choices, passion, September 11 and finding the first really big love.
I really love the gorgeous hand-lettered type face my name and the title are in on this one.
I got a package in the mail with two copies of the French version of Sparkle Spa 5: A Picture-Perfect Mess, which is called the equivalent of “A Perfect Photo” in French. So to celebrate the new title, I posed the book with some flowers and gave it a fancy photo shoot.
