Prima Magazine in the UK called The Light We Lost “An epic love story.” Thank you to their book editor, Nina Pottell, for including my novel in her top 10 reads for May!
The UK’s Stylist Magazine included The Light We Lost in their “What to Read in May” feature and said: “Jill Santopolo’s The Light We Lost is a love story that fans of David Nicholls will love.” Honored to be compared to an author I admire so much!
The Light We Lost was included in Bookish’s May Book Club Post! (I like their tip to readers.)
So honored and happy and thrilled that Redbook Magazine put The Light We Lost on the list of the Best Summer Beach Reads of 2017 and called it “the epic love story of 2017.”
I had so much fun chatting with Daniel on the Writer’s Bone podcast about books, MFAs, what I’m reading, and a few other things… Thanks for letting me visit!
Thank you to Real Simple for calling The Light We Lost one of the best new books to read this month and saying, “This moving story is a perfect understanding of the sacrifices we make for love and for our dreams.” (I so want to read all the books on this list!)
Well this was exciting to see! It’s a review of The Light We Lost in the NY Post!
The number of times I’ve watched this trailer borders on embarrassing….suffice it to say that I adore it and think that the person who created it captured the emotion in The Light We Lost perfectly.
I am so extra beyond thrilled that theSkimm chose The Light We Lost to be the first book in their Skimm Reads partnership with Target!!! And love this quote. “This read is One Day meets Me Before You meets your long weekend bag.” The article about all of that is right here.
I wrote some things about writing and editing and how different kinds of writers can learn from one another and now it’s up over at Bookish. A big thank you to the folks over there for featuring me on their site.
Some people have already told me that they’re planning to read The Light We Lost with their book club. So, I wanted to make sure everyone had access to the book club guide the superb folks at Putnam Books made (complete with a Team Darren/Team Gabe quiz).
