On July 3rd, the Polish edition of The Light We Lost was released out into the world, and I’ve been tagged in the coolest Instagram photos because of it. So to celebrate, I screengrabbed some of my favorites. Thank you to everyone who posted photos of my book (and who continues to do so!).

When I’m not writing novels or editing books, once in a while I’m a bookwriter for musicals. The photograph is from a workshop of Peanut Butter & Cupcake! (The Musical), based on the picture book written and illustrated by Bent Objects by Terry Border. Brad Ross is the composer, Christiana Cole is the lyricist, and Brandon Santoro directed. The actors were fantastic, and we had a great time seeing the musical on its feet. It will be performed this summer at Interlakes Children’s Theatre in New Hampshire, and I can’t wait!
I love that The Light We Lost spent its second week as a USA Today bestseller hanging out with Captain Underpants.
