Thank you so so much to Strand Book Store, Rachel Griffiths and everyone who came out to hear us talk about books and boys and motherhood and tears. It was so incredibly wonderful to see so many family and friends in the audience who I’ve known for decades—and to meet new fans and people I’ve only chatted with on Instagram. Also: no Miss Lollipop stuffy this time around because the real Miss Lollipop was there!

Audiobook Recording
I spent three days at CDM Sound Studios recording the audiobook of The Love We Found for Penguin Random House Audio. It was such an incredible experience to climb back into Lucy’s skin eight years after I recorded the audiobook for The Light We Lost. This novel is emotional too, and now, if you listen to both audiobooks, you can hear me trying not to cry on the very last section of each.

Way back at the beginning of the pandemic, Zibby Owens collected essays in a digital quarantine magazine called “We Found Time”. I wrote a piece about how an ex-boyfriend introduced me to running. That essay and tons of others are now collected in a book called Moms Don’t Have Time To—with all profits going to Covid-19 research. And there will be a virtual event to talk about it!
