Looking for some books that will make you believe in love? Columbia University suggests these (including The Light We Lost).
Thank you to everyone who came out to my book tour events at the Oxford Exchange, the Vero Beach Book Center, The Hummingbird Cafe, and The Wilton Library (with Elm Street Books). It was so wonderful to see everyone and chat books with you all.
The More Than Words paperback launch was at the Barnes & Noble Upper West Side, and included an interview with Laura Hankin, author of Happy & You Know It. I had such a great time—and hope everyone who came did too! Thank you for celebrating the paperback publication with me.
If your book club is thinking about reading More Than Words, here’s a fun book club kit that the folks over at Putnam Books put together. (There are even recipes for mimosas and pancakes!)
The first early copy of the More Than Words paperback arrived! So I did a little book photoshoot. I love the color flip on the cover. And check out the bonus material included in the back! (That added material is one of my favorite things about paperbacks.)
I came home tonight to the most incredible gift from Hello Sunshine! It’s a framed painting of The Light We Lost by Jane Mount (!!!). I’ve already replaced a poster in my office with this gorgeousness. Thank you to Reese Witherspoon for this wonderful gift and for choosing my book as the February 2018 pick for the Reese’s Book Club. I am so, so grateful. (I love the card, too, which is now hanging on our tree!)
There’s a giveaway happening over on my Instagram page where the winner gets not only two signed books, but also gets to name a character in my next book and gets me to FaceTime/Skype into their book club if the book club reads one of my books. Head over there if you want to enter!
So much fun to see The Light We Lost named a Romance Book That Will Tug At Your Heartstrings by Republic.
Yesterday I did my two final author events of 2019. Thank you to Hadassah and Columbia for inviting me to speak and welcoming me so wonderfully yesterday morning and evening. I’ll be working on another revision of Everything After until early February, and then will be on tour for the More Than Words paperback, starting February 4! 2020 tour schedule to come soon!
In More Than Words, Thanksgiving is Joseph Gregory’s favorite holiday, and he uses it to write notes thanking people for the help they gave him throughout the year. I held a sweepstakes on my Instagram page for a chance to win a signed copy of More Than Words and a set of eight lovebird place card holders. Thank you for everyone for participating! I hope you had a wonderful holiday.
It must be foreign edition week! The Norwegian edition of More Than Words just arrived. So cool to see the similarities and differences between editions.
