Happy 2015 everyone! I came home from a holiday vacation to find the first real LOVE ON THE LIFTS book in my apartment (it’s coming out on January, 22). So in honor, of that, I wish you all a year filled with many kinds of love.
I can’t believe I missed one of my book’s book birthdays, but I did. On December 30, 2014 The Sparkle Spa Shimmering Collection was released! You can read more about it here, but the short of it is that it’s a boxed set of the first four Sparkle Spa books (All That Glitters, Purple Nails & Puppy Tails, Makeover Magic, and True Colors), and it also includes some sparkly nail stickers. (Now I’m thinking that perhaps the Sparkle Spa girls should get some nail stickers in their salon!)

This past week I was at a party at the awesome New York City children’s bookstore Books of Wonder and got a chance to visit my books there. It’s always so nice to see them out in the world.
In celebration of the publication of TRUE COLORS, last week I visited the Vermont College of Fine Arts Launchpad blog and gave my own step-by-step instructions on how to do the polka-dot manicure I gave myself a few months ago (though in the instructions, I turned it into a pedicure). I got my author copies of TRUE COLORS (the fourth Sparkle Spa book) in the mail today, and my nail polish happened to match! The same thing happened when MAKEOVER MAGIC arrived. Maybe I’m subconsciously painting my nails the same colors as my books? We’ll have to see if it happens when BAD NEWS NAILS arrives in February…
So excited to share the jacket for Follow Your Heart: Love on the Lifts, which lets you choose your own romance (or decide not to have a romance) at a ski resort. The book will be out January 22, 2015. I can’t wait!
